At a minimum, I would say a grinder with a diamond wheel. And with that approach it would appear from the videos that you need to keep the stone wet. I have not tried this and am not suggesting it will work. I am not sure with the grinder how you would get close enough to existing walls, backsplashes, appliances to make this come out even.
